Gibson Hydro

Gibson Hydro is slowly moving forward. Federal legislation was introduced to extend our FERC construction deadline. Once passed, we can resume securing transmission rights and a power purchase agreement. Final design would then follow.

Notice

  • Water Users Annual Dinner/Meeting scheduled for October 20th at noon at the Fairfield Community Hall
  • Excess water is allowed this 2026 Water Season at the rate of $19.75 per CFS used.
  • The 2026 Water Season is set to end September 15th, with the drain season to continue for the next month or so.
  • A GID Pasture Grazing Work Session is being planned for the end of September. Get your thoughts together and plan to attend. Watch for upcoming details.
  • The 2027 Annual Assessment rate has been increased to $44/ assessed acre.
