2016 Season Water Allotment
Excess Water Deliveries Are Not Available.
To determine how much water you have available to use, refer to the ratio below:
You farm 65 assessed acres which will give you an allotment of 97.50 cubic feet of water (65x2). You run your pivot on said ground at 5 CFS (cubic feet per second). Take the 5 CFS and multiply it by 2 to figure out how many acre feet you use per day. 5 CFSx2=10. Take the 97.50 allotment on your 65 acre field and divide it by 10. This shows that you can irrigate approximately 9.5 days at the current rate before you run out of water.
Current O & M Assessment
Effective as of November 2015, the GID water assessment rate increased from $16.50 to $22.00 per acre for water usage.
